Once the light weight but exceptionally strong F1 GTR hulls are built, all facets of rigging and preparation are undertaken on site. A self contained engine room is where Mercury race powerheads and gearboxes are meticulously prepared, checked and serviced.
As a Mercury Hi-Performance dealer, GTR Race Boats is able to tap into the world wide resources and latest technology available from the US giant, Mercury Racing. From parts right through to complete race engines, GTR can supply and service all Mercury Hi-Performance products.
Within the GTR Race Boats facility is a specialist electronics room. In this clean workshop environment, all manner of electrical assemblies and components are designed, built and race prepared.
While the primary focus at GTR Race Boats is the two boat Trask Development Corporation F1 team, high quality race preparation work is also conducted under contract for other competitors. From complete race hulls through to engine development work and race day preparation, the world class equipment and tuning turned out by GTR Race Boats is in demand by competitors both in Australia and overseas. |
